A Princess Party

When I saw this assignment posted I just knew I had to do it. Now that I have a little princess of my own, I jump at the chance to do anything girlie. So many ideas swirled around in my head of what I could do with this project. I thought about taking pictures of my daughter in her new pink TuTu and centering the album around a “Fairy theme”. Then I thought about maybe using the Halloween pictures from last year, my daughter was a blue flower fairy. Her second birthday came along when I was trying to figure out what I was going to do with this assignment, so it was fresh on my mind. I had some pictures of the party printed out and laying on my desk with the Kaiser Castle and that is when the idea for a storybook came to me. I thought, I have all these pictures of different stages of her party, what if I made a fun little story out of them that I could share with her now, and later when she learned to read, she could enjoy it even more. My kids love reading, they get this from their mother of course :) In fact when I actually finished this album my oldest son read it a few times. He loved it. This was a great way to capture a fun event and make an amazing keepsake for my daughter to enjoy.

  1. Paint the cover, first page, sixth page and the back of the ablum in the pink paint. Paint pages two, three, four, and five with the antique white paint. When it dries you might want to go over it a couple more times with the paint to make even strokes and the paint a little darker. When the paint is dry add the mod podge over each pages to seal the paint on and to give it a more finished look.
